In January 2025, we had our first General Meeting as a community. It’s an important milestone for us as a board, as well as a community, because we got the opportunity to look back on our first year. During this meeting, we also discussed where we’d like to go from here, and what changes we’d like to make. Several motions were put forward and approved by the members and they are briefly listed below:

1. Introduction of the ‘Magic Bean” currency and subsequent fee for planting. More information will be provided later

2. Means of earning Magic Beans by attending educational activities. More information will be provided later

3. Permission from members to explore new gardening methods such as planting outside the greenhouse and experimenting with hydroponics.

4. Permission from members to budget the GROW website.

The next GMM will be held at the end of the academic year and we are looking forward to all that’s still to come!
